Getting Around the Stehekin Valley
Transportation Options
There are a few different transportation options to make getting around the Stehekin valley easy and enjoyable for you and your group. Bicycles for rent by the hour or day and even Polaris Rangers for those who want to ride in style!
Rainbow Falls Tours:
Available during the Lady Express or the Lady of the Lake 1.5 hour layover
Book online now!During peak season, the Red Bus will take you on a 50-minute tour to the breathtaking 312-foot Rainbow Falls. Bus tours leave from Stehekin Landing. Tour departures coincide with the arrival of the Lady of the Lake passenger ferries. Tours are narrated by a park ranger of the lower Stehekin Valley.
Stehekin Shuttle Bus:
Shuttles leave from the Lodge, located at the Stehekin boat landing. The shuttles travel 11 miles up the valley to High Bridge. High Bridge is the primary trailhead for a variety of hiking trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail. The buses make various stops along the route, including a stop at the Stehekin Garden and the Stehekin Pastry Company.
The Stehekin Shuttle Bus can transport you from the landing to High Bridge and points in between. Please book here in advance for all your shuttle needs.
Can-Am Rentals
Tour the valley on your own schedule!
The Can-Am Defender on the right has a flip out glass windshield, wiper, half doors and heated seats to keep you nice and toasty in the cooler weather, or allow open air flow in the warmer weather. It is available for rent during the Spring , Summer and Autumn months. The Can-Am Defender on the left has a fully enclosed cab, flip out windshield, power windows and a heater that will cook you right out, even in the coldest weather Stehekin has to offer. It is available for rent by reservation during the Autumn, Winter, and Spring months.
Rates start at $65/hour. **Reservations Recommended**
