 Rainbow Falls Tour
The tour bus departs directly from the boat landing upon arrival of all Lake Chelan Boat Company vessels.
The trip takes you 3.5 miles up valley to 312 foot Rainbow Falls. Narration is provided along the way, covering a wide range of topics and giving you a good perspective of the Stehekin Valley. You will pass by the one-room schoolhouse that is now a registered historical landmark. If you have a camera, you will defininately want to bring it with you. The tour takes about 45 minutes to complete, leaving you with the balance of your layover time to explore the Stehekin Landing area.
The falls is a sight to see, no matter which season you visit. Rainbow falls is like liquid thunder from April to June and turns to crystal ice in the winter.
